General Policies
Are children allowed?
Yes, as long as they are supervised by an adult. Children under 18 cannot be in the rooms alone.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code at LALA.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
No outside food or drinks are allowed, except for store-bought birthday cakes or cupcakes.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes! Store-bought cakes or cupcakes are welcome as long as they are sealed and labeled with ingredients. Homemade desserts and ice cream cakes are not permitted.
Can I decorate the room?
Yes, as long as decorations don’t cause damage. Great options: centerpieces, balloons, or table runners. Not allowed: confetti, glitter, banners, tape, sticky tack, or push pins.
Reservations & Scheduling
Can I start my karaoke reservation early?
No. We schedule 30 minutes between reservations to clean and sanitize each room.
Can I extend my reservation beyond 2 hours?
Yes, if the next time slot is available. Just ask on the day of your booking.
Can I book back-to-back reservations?
Of course—four hours of karaoke sounds amazing!
Can I book multiple rooms for a large party?
Absolutely.
Can I transfer a reservation between locations (St. Pete ↔ Tampa)?
No, reservations are not transferable between locations.
Can I reschedule my reservation?
Yes, up to 48 hours before your original date and time.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, with a full refund (minus a 3% booking fee) if canceled at least 48 hours in advance.
During Your Visit
Can I order food and drinks in the karaoke room?
Yes! A server will be assigned to your room with full access to our full menu.
Will my favorite song be available?
Our library has over 90,000 songs in multiple languages, with the largest selection in English, Spanish, and French.
Is there karaoke in the dining room?
Yes! Open Mic Karaoke:
- Wednesday (St Pete only) & Thursday: 9:00pm–12:00am
- Friday & Saturday: 10:00pm–1:30am
- Sunday: 1:00pm–4:00pm
Venue & Parking
Where can I park?
- St. Pete: A small lot is located behind our building, with additional street parking nearby. Residential parking on 1st Ave S is always free. We recommend arriving early to allow time to find a spot.
- Tampa: A larger lot is available. Parking is free on weekdays and Sundays. On Friday and Saturday nights, valet service is offered for $7. Free street parking is also available.
Can I rent out the rooftop or patio?
